Human sexuality beyond solely heterosexual mores has a long prevalence in the Americas, the Greco-Roman world, China, and the modern world, whose diversity and distance from one another prove that LGBT tendencies are universal aspects of humanity. They have existed in Greece, China, America, and countless other cultures openly, when society was more permissive than its modern counterpart. Homosexuality, bisexuality, and other aspects flourished and were widely practiced; moreover they never caused any social problems but rather enabled people to find pleasure and joy in what they liked best.  Therefore, given this long history of peaceful existence, homosexuality and its counterpart sexualities must be accepted by the mainstream as a part of human nature; and gays and others must not be ostracized and should be treated equally. Indeed, the world should also recognize the beneficial effects of LGBT interaction, how it has fostered unique cultural and social traditions around the world. There is no shame in homosexuality, it is a behavior and tendency that predates civilization itself and should not be repressed by unjust morals and codes. Being LGBT has no negative social effects, at least no more than heterosexuality. It should be respected as a natural tendency that has also profoundly enriched societies throughout history. The world must realize the prevalence and significance of LGBT behavior and accept it for there to be greater equality and freedom for individuals around the world.
